Discover the beauty of imperfection through kintsugi, one of Japan's most meaningful and distinctive artistic traditions.

Rather than hiding cracks and damage, kintsugi celebrates them. Broken ceramics are carefully repaired using lacquer and precious metallic powders, transforming fractures into part of an object's story and creating something even more beautiful than before.
Under the guidance of an accomplished artist, guests will learn the history, philosophy, and techniques behind this centuries-old craft while creating their own kintsugi-inspired piece. Along the way, gain insight into the Japanese appreciation for resilience, renewal, and finding beauty in life's imperfections.

Rooted in the belief that objects and people can become stronger and more meaningful through life's challenges, kintsugi offers a powerful perspective that continues to resonate throughout Japanese culture today.
